What is an elastic coupling?

When use the electric motor, it may be coupled with the elastic coupling. An elastic coupling is a mechanical device used to connect two shafts while allowing for some degree of misalignment and absorbing vibrations.

Key Characteristics:

Misalignment Compensation: They can accommodate angular, parallel, and axial misalignments between the shafts of motors. This flexibility is crucial in many applications where perfect shaft alignment is difficult to achieve or maintain.
