The stability and improvement of motor performance is due to the level of design on the one hand, and the realization of product design through manufacturing process is also very important on the other hand. Especially in the case of tight inner cavity of some motors, necessary measures are needed to ensure the basic conditions of electrical insulation and ventilation and heat dissipation during the operation of the motor.
For many motor products, an internal fan is added to the inner cavity to even out the temperature of motor parts, especially the motor winding, to prevent electrical failure of the motor winding due to local overheating.
For some products with tight inner cavity space, especially in the case of poor end shaping effect, the ventilation and heat dissipation space may be completely blocked due to the insulation performance, which is very likely to cause serious heating problems in the local winding, and then the local insulation aging or even complete burning of the winding may occur.
The problem of local heating at the end of the winding will directly spread to the bearing system of the motor. The heating of the bearing system will aggravate the heating of the winding. This vicious cycle will lead to poor reliability of the entire motor and fatal electrical and mechanical failures.
In the actual manufacturing process, the ends of some capacity-enhanced motors and few-pole motors have particularly tight relative space with the base and end cover, which makes it easier to have local heating problems. Manufacturers should pay great attention to this problem to prevent failures
