The power factor of the motor: indicates that this motor can input % of the energy in the power grid into the motor as the input power of the motor.
The efficiency of the motor = the output power of the motor / the input power of the motor; it indicates the ability of the motor to convert electrical energy into mechanical energy.
There is no linear relationship between power factor and efficiency, but the power factor will affect the efficiency of the motor.
